Ruck Rack® Installation
Monster Install on Squat Rack
As Justin says in the video, he is installing on the front face of the squat rack in this video for demonstration purposes. Customers will likely use it in another location to not interfere with the standard use of the rack.
For mounting Ruck Rack Monster to the wall, we suggest watching the video below for Ruck Rack Delta and applying the same method of:
- Locate the wall stud in the area you want the rack
- Mark screw locations using the rack as a template
- Drill pilot holes using a 5/32" drill bit (not included)
- Install lag screws and tighten until almost secure
- Level rack then apply final torque to lag screws
Delta Install on Wall
We recommend drilling a pilot hole for each lag screw with a 5/32" drill bit (not included) prior to screwing the lag screws into the wall.
Warning: Drywall anchors and screws can be used in lieu of a stud and lag screws, but customer does so at their own risk as the overall strength of the rack will be limited by that connection method. The stated weight capacity of 150 lbs is not applicable for this installation method.
