The Ruck Rack Story

Ideas born in the mountains. Built in the American West.

I'm Cyle, founder of Ruck Rack. I served six years in the Army National Guard and earned degrees in Mechanical and Civil Engineering. I've always been a tinkerer and problem solver.

In 2020, while training for elk season, I was rucking heavy and working out in my garage. I needed a wall-mounted storage solution that could handle my weighted pack and vest without having to unload them after every session. I wanted something strong, durable, and built to last.

Nothing on the market met my standards, so I grabbed scrap sheet metal and started welding. The first Ruck Rack prototype was born. Since then, I've refined the design into the product you see today—engineered for durability and easy to install.

Today, Ruck Rack is based in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho with manufacturing in Nevada. We focus on two things: product quality and customer service. Every Ruck Rack is laser cut, CNC-bent, and powder coated in the USA, then shipped directly to you.

I want you to love your Ruck Rack enough to tell your friends about it. If you have questions or want to chat, reach out on our Contact page.
